The takeover will come into force from 1 February, and comprises among other things Voksi Classic, Voksi Aktiv, and caps, mittens and bootees. The Voksi concept is that the products are made from natural materials, and the inner layer is carded new wool. It is in tune with the spirit of our time and environment friendly to use renewable materials that can easily be recycled. This is an important choice, especially in an age of major climatic changes.
HTS BeSafe as will be in charge of sales and marketing. Voksi products will be sold alongside BeSafe, which are on the market in more than 25 countries. HTS as will be responsible for production, logistics and the ownership of Voksi products.
The company can see great potential in the Voksi products, and will make use of the time up to the peak season to make minor design adjustments and optimise the products, update the fashion trends and adapt them to different markets. In addition, HTS has consolidated retail distribution of HTS Safety in Northern Europe to cover sales in Sweden, Finland, Germany and Denmark. On other markets we will primarily work with the present distributors.
In recent years the baby product industry has developed its structure by forming chains, and in parallel the company has sought to internationalise its brand name. Voksi products, especially Voksi Classic, have been plagiarised in the last few years, and this is a contributory factor to Voksi’s decision to join forces with a larger company.
Ullkorga as will continue to market, pillows, duvets and some of their special children’s products. Bodil Korshamn will continue to run this company as before.
HTS expects to sell just under 10 million Voksi products in the current year.
The HTS Group has an estimated turnover of 335 million and in addition to Voksi also markets BeSafe, HTS, Loyds, Packline, Etto and Coolpack. Voksi matches our business philosophy of quality finished products for consumers.
